In the process of this photographic journey one item I had been struggling whether to continue to blog or not. To me the blog is a great way to communicate processes, lessons learned and photographs taken. As good as all that, blogs are time consuming and require the author to manage his or her time in order to post often and retain readers. For me my time management skills are not my strong suite, just ask the two readers and my wife. But the journey I am on to be a better photographer will only benefit by writing about it. To journal my success and failures and in doing so hopeful getting feed back from the readers.
So this is what I plan to do. My goal is to post once a week. Right now I am working ahead on posts so that I am not scrambling to put something up that is not very good. I am also thinking about the subjects I want to cover. For me I am drawn to process of photography, Film, Elements of design in photography the myriad of resources that I find interesting. Hopefully by the end of next year I have at least done 52 post and have 5 or more readers. Including me.
Until my next post on the first week of January, I hope all of you have a great and safe holiday.
Blog, David! Blog like the wind!
